We now offer the two instructional video sets shown below.  Each of these sets are an excellent source of information and learning aid for anyone who wishes to acquire the knowledge needed to properly groom their Westie.  Each two disk set offers approx. four (4) hours of in-depth grooming instruction.  There are two different Westies used (one for each disk, in each set) so you are offered many different photo angles and an intense learning session which you are able display on you T.V., computer or any device that will play DVD videos.  If you are one who wishes to learn the proper procedures involved in creating the "True Westie Look" for your K-9 friend, one of these video sets, with your devotion and practice, will transform you into a Westie groomer that is more accomplished than 95% of the grooming shops anywhere in the country.  Joyce is an expert in her field of dog grooming and every aspect of the procedures she employs, everyday, is demonstrated in great detail.

We have created these videos in our grooming shop, using La Terra Dios Westies.  The first video set shown is taylored completely toward "Pet Clipping".  This is the way nearly all Westie pets are/should be groomed.  Our girls are all groomed using this technique. 

The second video set deals strictly with "Hand Stripping".  This procedure is preformed on "Show Dogs", our "Stud Dogs", and by a few Westie pet owners who want their Westie to have all the appearances of one who just stepped out of an A.K.C. Show Ring.  You are sure to find this video set exceptionally complete and fulfilling.  Anyone who has a true desire and some natural ability with hair and design can, with practice, transform their Westie into one that will rival our "Friday" and/or "Rio".

It must be realized, in order for you to create the coat types, which you see on our Westies, it will take time and considerable practice.  The hair must be allowed to grow to proper lengths which can take months but, during that growing time, the hair must be worked with your sights set on the end product.  Please, also visit our web page entitled grooming tools.  There you will find the tools needed for each type of grooming procedure.  We offer all these tools, as well as specialized, earth friendly shampoos that are far superior to most store bought detergent, chemical containing items.  We carry and ship concentrated shampoos in sizes fit for a one or two dog family.  We have shampoos that will aid any coat texture and/or skin condition.  We also have a Totally Natural flea shampoo that kills fleas and other insects in seconds.  We have used this product for years and stand behind it's safety and effectiveness, 100%.
